How we work

How a program runs, from the first research to the final yes.

Praxis Rock Advisors runs each program in four stages, through the moment an investor, owner, customer or partner commits. Market maps and diligence end sooner, in a report you can act on.

Outreach programs and research work, stage by stage

How a program runs, in two lanes over timeTwo lanes drawn as tracks over time. The outreach programs lane has four stages: before you commit, setup, live and handover. In the live stage, warm paths come first, then the other channels, and one oxblood line carries interested people straight to you. The research lane has three stages: before you commit, the research, and delivery. The stages before you commit are drawn as dashed track, because nothing is committed yet.

Outreach programs

Raise Capital, Source Deals and Grow Revenue

  1. Before you commit

A free sample of research on your market, then a scoping call and a written scope.

  2. Setup

The people who fit, their warm paths, materials and channels, all made ready.

  3. Live

Warm paths from our relationship graph first, then every channel. Interested people go straight to you, same day.

  4. Handover

We hand over what we built, or keep it running.

Research work

Map the Market, and Underwrite and Diligence

  1. Before you commit

A free sample, then a written scope.

  2. The research

We map the market or check the deal, and look hard for what could go wrong.

  3. Delivery

A report, an interactive map or model, and a spreadsheet.

How the work splits between your team and ours

Who does the work at each stage, five waysFive rows, each with two bars across the four stages: before you commit, setup, live and handover. Our team runs the free sample and the scope in every row. On the Platform and on your own tools, our team builds the setup and your team runs the live program and the handover. Under your name, our team runs every stage and your team takes the meetings at the end of the live stage. In both, our team runs every stage and your team runs part of the live program. Embedded with you, a Praxis person works inside your team from setup to handover, with our team behind them at every stage.

Your team, on The Praxis Rock Platform

A private workspace holding our research; your team runs it.

Your team, on its own tools

We build the list and notes; your team runs them.

Our team, under your name

We run every channel, and each conversation comes straight to you.

A standing call and a one-page summary, every week or two

A sample program summaryAn illustrative sample with no figures: one page with a row each for approaches made, people reached, conversations started, meetings and coverage, each drawn as a plain bar, and a last row of next steps drawn as two lines of text.

Conversations started
Someone asked to talk or to see more.
Meetings
A call that took place.

Conflicts, confidentiality and what you keep

Conflicts

No category exclusivity and a block list for each client, both in writing.

What you keep

Every conversation is yours, and so is the setup it ran on: your workspace, your outreach accounts and your contact history.

Between clients

No client sees another client's contacts or conversations. What we learn is used only in aggregate.

Who we're not for

We would rather say no on the first call than disappoint you in month three.

  • Raises that must close in 45 to 90 days.
  • Outreach programs in markets under about 1,000 possible targets.
  • Offerings to investors who do not meet the offering's investor standard.
  • Anyone who wants us to negotiate terms, hold funds or take a share of capital raised.
  • Anyone who wants an appraisal, fairness opinion, credit rating or investment recommendation.
